1. Stemming from the framework of economic theory, the department also attaches importance to financial applications<\/strong><\/p>\n

To meet the economic development and job market demands, the content of the main curriculum courses\u00a0combines the fields of economics and finance, which in turn focus on industrial economic analysis in conjunction with investment portfolio. As for elective courses, they are divided accordingly into two tracks--industrial economics and finance\u2014to nurture financial professionals with a sense of economic pulse.<\/p>\n

2. Emphasize the cultivation of data processing ability<\/strong><\/p>\n

In response to the era of big data, the Department of Money and Banking further incorporates the training of information technology on top of the foundation of econometrics and software packages to increase students\u2019 ability to process and analyze big data to meet the demands for financial technology talent.<\/p>\n

3. Stress the development of the last mile (stage)<\/strong><\/p>\n

To enable students to keep abreast of the dynamics of the job market, our department promotes the development for the last mile, which enhances the effort to help students to pass licens<\/span>ure<\/span>\u00a0exams through holding on-campus exams and offering practical courses with professional teachers, to<\/span>\u00a0sign co-op<\/span>\u00a0agreements, and to set up internships. These measures assist students to gain in-field experience and competitiveness.<\/span><\/p>\n

4. Thesis writing<\/strong><\/p>\n

The Department of Money and Banking requires students to write a graduation thesis in the form of collective<\/span>\u00a0teamwork\u00a0for undergraduates and individually for graduate\u00a0students, both<\/span>\u00a0advised by a faculty member.
